Nice all my rifles are bolt action. I prefer composite stocks as they are less affected by cold to hot climate, but the wood grain looks a lot nicer.

I really wanted a bolt gun, but I also really wanted iron sights. Ruger Scout rifle is high on my list, but the price was right for this. I like wood more for a feel and looks, but composite is definitely more practical.

Love it! I got a chance to shoot a Marlin 1895 guide gun in .450 and it was fucking gnarly.

eeez purdy...my next Rifle will be lever action....I have always only had semi auto stuff...

I do like it. I'd prefer straight grain as opposed to the laminated stocks, maybe one day will change them out. A semi auto would be real nice but I have always loved cowboys lever guns, and hard to beat the simplicity and price too.
