Riding with bare knees makes me cringe ! Forgot my pads last week and it was scary as hell

Since I crashed on my bare knees once on the way to school,I wear my knee braces even when I go shopping on my bike haha

Even if I don't crash I bang the insides of my knees on the top tube time to time when controlling the bike

After a while, you kill all the nerves in your knees anyways so cuts are no biggie. Its awesome!

I dont get it, I ride flats and happily ride in jeans and a t (and full face). Maybe I'm not 'rad' or 'gnarly' enough

I stared at that picture for a good 30 seconds, trying to work out why the whole thing looked so bloody dangerous. He's not 20 ft off the floor, the track is fairly wide and straight, no major obstacles in his way, wearing a helmet....I just couldn't work it out.
Read your comment. Went back and looked at picture again. All made sense.
