 I thought it was a tiltshift lens but then again I don't know much about those. Either way, I'm not a big fan of the effect - looks too unnatural for my liking!

 Eh that's like saying black and white is old now. Its a different way to show a photo and I think it was done very properly in this. This is such a cool shot and it makes you just focus on zink and the enormous size of that jump.
