It looks nice mate! I'm not a big fan of the red colour on bikes but the Switchback it's a beauty of a frame. Smile Why aren't you using a dropper post btw?

Thankyou mate. Yeah I don't think the red comes across as being the best colour on the internet but as I was told and thought it looks so much better in person. I hadn't seen a red Switchback build that I thought was anything special looks wise, most of the builds have too many red components and in general colour matching that just looks untidy. My plan was too have all black components on the red frame, so its kinda worked out. I still have stuff to do to it though.

As for not using a droper post, well really I have been having a hard time choosing one to buy, as in what brand and model. I was thinking a KS lev, the latest all black version or.....I don't know really...everytime I readup about droppers I get put off by the negative reviews and threads people write about them. Even Thomson droppers get some bad reviews so...but KS seemed to get less bad reports over all..
Also plus the £250 to £300 needed to buy one...lol

Yeah, probably looks better live. To be honest, the Thomson looks much better than a dropper post! Smile
I which I was not so much used to droppers and could get along with one on my Shan, looks so clean. Anything against Reverbs? I bought mine for £174.

Yeah thats another thing, a regular Thomson seat post is lighter, and looks much cleaner. As for a Reverb again just wasn't sure on the reliability and quality out of the box?, maybe they're not as bad as they used to be...Maybe worth a go though as they're much cheaper and I quite like the idea of the hydraulic hose instead of a cable...

Thankyou, its not quite ffinished but then I guess bikes never really are they.
Needs narrower rear tyre, I want to try 50mm stem instead of the 35mm. I would also like to add a Hope 30mm bb and Raceface cinch cranks. Those are the important things that will be done as soon as I get time. Although the rear tyre is the most important job then to try a 50mm stem and so on...Smile

Oh and to shorten the cables...is high priority too..Big Grin

Yes, my bikes are always in transition, ahhahahhah But changing stems and tires is good fun, you can get what you like best! But she came together nicely! RideOn mate!
