Doubt there's a single pixel you could really call 'raw', in this pic, though... from the daytime, to the timing, the lighting and even the rider's clothes, everything shouts careful planning for effect, obviously done by someone who knew exactly what they wanted and how to deliver it.

I'm talking about the raw feeling of the picture, by which I mean that it does not look overly processed and edited unlike a lot of pictures these days.

Urban sprawl contrasting the eerie sunset and trail rider spec. I feel validated .

My backyard! I believe that's Newport Center in the background with Catalina Island on the horizon. Don't come here - it sucks. Short riding season. No real trails. Dusty all year.

Almost perfect lighting. I feel like it's a bit too bright and blown out. A slight filter on the flash would have softened the white up a little and awarded this photo a more organic feel, IMO.

I get the feeling he is a fan of red. Great pic with brilliant lighting.

The composure of this shot to me shows exactly what mountain biking is, an escape from the everyday grind.
