is this really what POD's have come to? 12 faves and 2 comments.... wow, I remember when POD's were not selected, but more voted by the volume of faves.

I agree, they use to get 30,000 views!

Agreed this is the first time I've clicked on a POD in a while. They used to be all about the riding and not the composition, lighting, mood, etc. One of my shots got POD years ago. It was out of focus slightly and the composition wasn't the best light was bad, but it was a shot of a guy doing an unreal trick (Heal Clicker) that everyone could appreciate. What is this a shot of.....nothing more than a guy riding a bike in some trees in the late afternoon. I can see that at the local walking trails by my house whenever I want. . . . . .sigh.

@valleyimagewerx I agree with you bro. But there are some pretty sick riding POD's here and there...

@valleyimagewerx : That heal clicker is sick! Yeah your focus is very slightly out but that's the most perfectly timed shot I have ever seen! Looking at the number of views and faves shows how much PB has changed. It must be hard to select POD and VOD but it does seem they're more interested in execution than content these days. MTB has changed too though- cycling is the new golf so it's hardly a surprise when websites that cover it will slowly go that way too.

Great pic that really captures the feel of riding alone late in the day. Love the spray coming off the front wheel. Too bad there's not a bigger size - would make a GREAT desktop.

This is absolutely beautiful - one of my favourite POD's in quite a while!
