Selected by Scott Secco - This is one of the heaviest moves ever! Antoine Bizet really pushed himself during Deep Summer 2014 and this is what he came up with on Cam McCaul's NWD river gap. You don't want to crash here.
Am I the only one to think that a front flip is about the most unnatural mountain bike move? I mean its an impressive trick to throw over a river gap, but seeing a front flip will never get me stoked to ride. Sick shot nontheless.
Front flips seem unnatural at first; but once you try them a few times and realize when to tuck your mass forward on the take-off the jump can help your rotation. I personally find them more natural than backflips. Here's one that I sent to flat: www.pinkbike.com/video/416168
Have to agree, they don't look great. Amazing trick and I'd never have the bollocks to try one, but a one footed table or a suicide would have looked better aesthetically. Still it gets you way more "completely insane" points that's for sure!!!!! And dude, props on the one to flat, that's pretty massive!!!!
The Lincoln-loop is the trick I want to see... In the Revel movie, Semenuk did the first lincoln-loop on a bike that I have seen... loved that! and cooler and harder than the fronty, in my hairy-ginger opinion.
How do you figure out the speed needed to pull this kind of trick off? i mean there is`nt much room for error and all the what if`s would do my head in?????
