If that was the case then wouldn't you feel it now especially when the drivetrain is on the right side? Lefty's may look strange and seem unbalanced but they are one of the stiffest fork chassis available for trail bikes and it tracks much better than the rival 34 or SID. Their dampener does need work though

 You don't feel any difference. Probably the most noticeable difference is the Turning raidus since it is basically a dual crown fork.
