i shot with a 1dx and i can tell you it is not a clean camera grain gets really visible at like 6400

 No kidding? I guess I just assumed digic 5 for 18mp would clear that up a bit more.

 i think since its a 1dx, the user won´t use the internal processor for noise reduction. So its the natural grain the cam produces at 10.000 iso and it looks awesome! i don´t understand how people always equate noise with bad quality. the picture looks very decently exposed and that´s the key
