March 2015 photo/ rider Erik Hölperl

Some spots make you wonder if the architect had this kind of usage in mind when he designed the Building. I read about this place in a architecture magazine in the library of my university and I had to check it out. After visiting Ruben Alcantara in Malaga we found it on our way home.
Probably one of the most scary spots I have ever ridden. Beeing close to the ocean you had to deal with unforseable wind gusts and a surface that would cut you into pieces if you fall. worth it though.

Hey Eric, cool photo, great composition. What is this surface a part of? You mentioned architecture...
Is this surface curved to flat, or is this still an angle?

there is a museum right beneath this place and it slightly goes downhill, making the transition extremly unpredictable to ride

It looks like basically the next best thing to finding a full bike park. Good photo.

If you stare hard enough at the blocks and make your eyes fuzzy it turns into a sailboat.

what reason is there to build such a wall ?? would have been probably 3 times cheaper to make it vertical with concrete ? of it's beautiful but $$$

The photo would kinda suck without the beautiful stones, wouldnt it ?
