My first "Brand New" bike in twenty years.
Size Small 2016 Pivot Firebird 650B, Shimano SLX/XT Drivetrain, Fox Float 36 Hard Ano Fork/Fox Float X Kashima Rear Shock, DT Swiss Tubeless Wheelset.
A little more travel than I was shopping for, and I still lack the skirt to really send it, but it should be ear-to-ear grin fun!

So this is where I landed, after narrowing the search to about a hundred bikes, from hard-tails up to free-ride travel, 650B, 29ers, and skinny to mid-fat, I was so tempted by so many. I didn't want to miss out on a sale price for this never ridden before beauty. My last "new" bike purchase was in the '90s, so this was a long overdue.

It has not disappointed. I'm keeping up w/ my group (on XC rigs) on the trail, and waiting for them after any of the down hills and bony parts. Loving the 27.5 all the way, and the DW does it's thing, I don't even think about it. The rear tubeless is finally behaving, so I want to star messing with the psi some more.
