If I were to choose between a pic of someone 360'in the grand canyon and this pic for POD....it'd be this one....this guy is amazing....good stuff man keep ridin
WoW!!! You have real skill, I realy hope you regain your movement because i watched that clip and it looked real bad how far did you fall ( This guy crippled on a big north shore drop) . I hope you get better, but keep em photos comeing.
this is no joke mate, go to www.myspace.com/ride_til_you_die to check out the vid of my crash, over shot the landing on a 50x25 gap and hit a tree. pulled 5 nerves out of my spine, had 2 operations an im back on the bike.
Do you ride with a steering damper so the bar doesnts turn to easily and the bike holds a better line? I rode some downhill last year with a guy with one arm, rippin in as faster than me. total inspiration. Props man
whoaaa, i just watched that crash. Bad one. I hope you get better. If you're still riding then you've got the right attitude to recover if it is possible to, and I wish you all the best. My friend hit a jump on his snowboard in france a few months back and landed on his head. They had to chip a section of bone out of his thigh area and insert it into the back of his neck/spine. He's lucky all has now is pain. But yeah, respect - no one can argue that you're a real biker!!!!
i think you are the best rider and the most motivate rider i know.. you must have a very big courage to ride.. i don't know if you gap now but..wowwww what a couragous man you are! congraculation ! it's look like the real spirit of freeriding.. always riding for the best and the worst! thank you for this shot and i hope you can ride whith your to harm early. sorry for my bad english.. good ride..
hey man, i know james nichollas from bridgend through uni in cardiff. i remember him showing me your video back in the summer. i was gutted for you.
fair plays to you! bet your still faster than me downhill!
keep it up bud!
big respect! like adidas say impossible is nothing! and u are a great insperation to all people out there who are injuryed and think about give giving up, obviously you u have a passion and drive that even some of us fully able people havent got!
big respect and keep it going buddy!
i read about a guy who rides XC with only one arm, and he had to get off to ride down hill (mad props still though), but you are insane! all those people who rant about not being able to ride because of a crap bike should look at this pic. insprational.
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. IMPOSSIBLE is NOTHING!
you are a true inspiration, not only to riders but to anyone. most other rider would have accepted their injury and found a new fix. but you, you are truly a hero. i went out and tryed to ride one handed and jesus for you to do that is just retarded. it is soo hard. this is the spirit and motivation our sport needs. thank you for doing what you do
- Colin Boutilier
your amazing man keep riding cuase thats not stoping u bud and it is true to those who say its fake but notice both beaks on the right side of the bar and the front brake isnt on the left but the right for those who think it isnt reall.
Good job man keep shreding
this guy has the spirit of mountain biking doesnt stop for anything, your a f*cking legend hope the arm gets better, ride on man. oh and by the way you have a really nice bike
Massive props dude!!!! thats pic of the year right there ..... i always said i will ride untill i am the best ..... have no fear!!!! but after seeing what u did man .. i can never say that again ... u got the biggest balls out there ....... peace
this shows that it is not about the bike or how much travel or what you ride or anything like that, but the rider and the riders spirit that make waht a truly amazing ride is, this is a true pod, one guy wiith an iron will, total dedication, and a love for the bike. total respect dude your an inspiration to people and so many peeple could learn a lesson from you!
Yeaaaaaaaaa !! congratulation !! I LOVE this pic !! you are the best exemple of a good rider; not searching the nicest paysage or the bigest trick but showing what is the determination of a rider... the only word who comes to my spirit when I see this pic is "DUDE". Sorry for my english and keep riding but with care. One more time, congratulation.
I'm curious how you got everything mounted so tightly together on the one side of the bar. Can you add a picture in your album of a closeup of your cockpit? It just seems like with that much hardware, something has to be hard to reach unless you have some fancy ingenuity going there. Have you looked into running a hopey steering damper?
props %100. ive tryed to do a few simple things one handed like riding through a ditch or somin small and have srewed up horibly, and here you are flying through some dh with one arm. if that isn't determination i dont know what is. you re the most talented mtber ive seen, i bet you could get some one handers down your first day of jumping agian:P (sorry if that was offencive i thought it was sorta funny) well keep riding and i hope you regain control of your arm so you can do even better then you can with one, good luck
hey man.. i have 2 say is .. WOW bro... u have a will inside u that is true 2 every biker in the world 2 keep ridin... Dude i have bin were u r now... i once had a bad crash were it peralized my right arm and right side of my neck.. and dude after my crash i never whated 2 ride again.. let alone thought of even ridin again the way i was.. i hope u get better man..
and i now ride around sometimes with just 1 arm and its FN hard dude.. i dont now how u do it.. P.O.D 4 u man.. props bro.. keep puttin pics on here i bet everyone has ur respect.. Peace dude.. wild willy..
Its great What you've done. You're giving hope for other people. Dude I think you're better than Kyle Strait and other. You know why? Because you're doing that what you love, other people would surrend but you're doing it. You'll be a legend. Keep ridding:-) I hope your hand will be fine again.
wow.... your insane... besides having very strong arms, your will is the strongest that i`ve ever seen... As some guys said youre a real hero because nothing can stop you... even your body... FAST COMING BACK TO FULL HEALTH
That bites to hear you paralised your arm, it shows how much you love the sport and all your courage and bravery! I hope you regain movement in it and wish you the best as you are a Ledgend
have just noticed that too and the first thought was that something is wrong here and it's not a 100% riding pic or just pretending riding but however, I wouldn't argue about it cos this pic has some deeper sense. and lookin at that detail made my eyes a kind of strange feeling just like when the pic isn't sharp enough but u know that it should be lol anyway radek made it clear and my eyes are ok now ;p
yr class dude ive seen u up mtn ash loads of time gd on u dnt let the sport down init!!! nice style 2 add my msn n we cld go ridin soon or sumit! storeyboi_santacruz@hotmail.co.uk

thats pure dedication to the sport and shows that u can do anything if you put your mind to it!
a real inspiration.......keep it up!!!
yeh tom pod thats rad! and well deserved. as a lot of people have said proper respect to u for getting back on yr bike and shredding. im sure one day ull get yr arm back, but until then keep ripping!
WOW, Seems we've got a winner for the photo of year!
You dude, make me ride more than anyone in this site, keep the spirit up, good luck for u and your SX, IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHNG!
will you ever get better, I hope you do . yyou rip harder than anyone out there just because you ridin with one arm, justy like your my space say ride till you die man, much love dude!!!
Hey I was looking though your album, you were pretty good.. Sorry for the recent tragidy. Glad to see that you are still going at it. You really bring the sport to life again, congrats, and keep up the great work!
wow man. Not many ppl would be able to go back to biking after a crash like that. You must love it. What a great pic its so tight your still ridin. As everybody said, what an inspiration
The north shore drop of the video really freaked me out. A lot of courage to attempt such a drop so fast and a lot of courage to keep on riding after all that. Hope you'll recover, you deserve it!
thats love for the sport. and for evryone saying "his arm is under his shirt!!!!!" your absolutely correct. but his arm is paralysed so he can ride with it. thats why his brake levers are both on the right side of his bike
it prove heaven if you have hard dammages about your body you ride like other riders in the world!! i'm sure you're very talented!! you're a very brave man!!!! keep up!!!!!
Such respect for someone like you, nothing will stop you from riding your bike. Its life, without our bikes i dont know what we would do. Keep shredding bud!
man anyone who can ride a bike that good with one arm derserves more than anyone to have 2 so i hope you get to use your other arm again.. best POD of all time!!
I can´t say anything that haven´t already been said. But I´m really surpriser! that´s is strong! man, you gotta have a hell of a will, you are gonna be a legend!
amazing. if you look he has one finger on one brake lever and his middle finger on another so that means he is riding with 2 fingers and a thumb well done man . keep it up
Whoever says "dude ur arm's in the shirt". Ya who cares! He never saud that it got amputated, its just in his shirt so that its not hanging out and throwing off his balance!
not to be rude m8, but it looks like u tucked ur arm under ur shirt. but if u havent then good on u, u must have one fucking strong arm to hold a bike up and ride with it. good on ya.
ye i know that mate, but how do i know that he's pretending or somin. but he most likely isnt. but like i said good on ya mate for continuein, and i love how uve put the brakes like that
just realised that myself a genious idea. at first wen i saw the small pic on the hompage i was thinking WTF a guy riding about with one arm for the sake of it. BUT then i read and props to you for doing what yoou do.
in decline right? but orangeairo87 i seriously respect u for continuing to ride with a paralyzed arm. i hope you regain control over it, but until then keep shredding
