Damn, I thought I commented on this when I first saw it.....my bad. Now that is one striking piece of machinery my friend!! You did a great job with it, borderline perfection!

Hahaa, I knew that would get a questioning. It's all opinionated stuff that I would have done different, but that's just me and it's only 3 things.
(Mar 2, 2016 at 22:36)
Well now I gotta know: what 3 things?
(Mar 3, 2016 at 10:16)
Well like I said, they're only things that go along with my own opinion: 1) I like floating rotors because the solid ones kinda cheapen the bike. 2) Never use colored pedals. 3) 31.8mm bars are non-proportional when used on hardtail DJ/Street bikes. Only my opinions and I expect the neg-props to accumulate on this comment over time, hahaa.
(Mar 3, 2016 at 10:31)
1.) I went with the non-floating rotor because the 160mm 2-piece rotor wasn't in stock. 2.) I had to use the orange pedals because they were the whole reason why I built the bike in the first place. 3.) I like 31.8 bars. No other reason there.

Sweet choice of forks. The pedals look a bit more radioactive and brighter. But they do match the decals on the forks. Sick one, yet again Seraph.

That's so perrrttty! I was worried there would be too many orange bits but that it perfect
(Feb 28, 2016 at 9:22)
I specifically held off on the orange hubs I had planned because I was worried that there would be too much orange. My friend told me that orange is a strong color and you don't want to detract from the orange in the decals, so I toned it down to an orange headset, spoke nipples, saddle, and pedals.

Definitely a good choice. This just looks classy

Whats your take on the blunt 35 rims? Also do you know if they do custom drilling options like 24h?
(Apr 13, 2018 at 2:20)
They were awesome rims. A bit portly though. Velocity is a pretty neat company, I would shoot them an email and see if they could do a 24H version for you.

I thought so too. Only thing is that no one carries it! So I had to buy at retail from Jensonusa :'(

(Feb 27, 2016 at 23:22)
I didn't post much about this project. Not as much as my other builds, anyway.

(Apr 1, 2016 at 10:46)
I thought Trek reserved the Gulf color scheme.
(Apr 1, 2016 at 18:25)
When would they have done that?
