Sweet choice of forks. The pedals look a bit more radioactive and brighter. But they do match the decals on the forks. Sick one, yet again Seraph.

Damn, I thought I commented on this when I first saw it.....my bad. Now that is one striking piece of machinery my friend!! You did a great job with it, borderline perfection!

 Only borderline? Frown

Hahaa, I knew that would get a questioning. It's all opinionated stuff that I would have done different, but that's just me and it's only 3 things.

Well now I gotta know: what 3 things?
  • 4 0
Well like I said, they're only things that go along with my own opinion: 1) I like floating rotors because the solid ones kinda cheapen the bike. 2) Never use colored pedals. 3) 31.8mm bars are non-proportional when used on hardtail DJ/Street bikes. Only my opinions and I expect the neg-props to accumulate on this comment over time, hahaa.

1.) I went with the non-floating rotor because the 160mm 2-piece rotor wasn't in stock. 2.) I had to use the orange pedals because they were the whole reason why I built the bike in the first place. 3.) I like 31.8 bars. No other reason there.

That's so perrrttty! I was worried there would be too many orange bits but that it perfect Smile

I specifically held off on the orange hubs I had planned because I was worried that there would be too much orange. My friend told me that orange is a strong color and you don't want to detract from the orange in the decals, so I toned it down to an orange headset, spoke nipples, saddle, and pedals.

Whats your take on the blunt 35 rims? Also do you know if they do custom drilling options like 24h?
  • 1 0
They were awesome rims. A bit portly though. Velocity is a pretty neat company, I would shoot them an email and see if they could do a 24H version for you.

I thought Trek reserved the Gulf color scheme.

When would they have done that?
