Am I the only one that sees a nomad with a gear box?

I mean sure it hasnt got the vpp and the swing link is on the outside of the seat stays but apart from that at first glance i thought it was a nomad lol

Yeah, it's not really a problem, especially as the pivot doesn't look that high above the BB. Just a bit of a geo-preserver when dragging the brakes through steep stuff.

With that rocker arm it's almost the same to put the brake on the chainstays or in the seatstays, and this solution is stiffer so that's why it is how it is...

 Brake on the chainstay.

Indeed. Which works just as well as a brake on the seatstay, given a similar (virtual) pivot around that the rear wheel moves through suspension. Just don't buy into the marketing knowledge.

Low-ed comment on pinkbike, exposing said commenters ignorance for the suject of own comment.

yeah i find that odd too, especially given that the international patent for the horst link is now expired. frames take a long time to develop tho (especially if you are not using a Taiwanese "off the shelf" frame and re-branding it), it wouldn't surprise me if Zerode started designing this frame before the patent had expired.

Or they just didn't want the infamous FSR flex......

Or I said it because it was up for debate on the forums, not that it was a problem.

@PHeller Sweet reversal. Now I am commenter whose ignorance is exposed. Well played.
