Does he not like dropper posts? My favorite high seat post memory was coming down a hill from school on the commuter bike with a heavy backpack on, and generally on most bikes I can hop pretty high, but missed the timing up a curb, and crashed bad going fast. Dropper posts are a great idea.
@Kramz: XC riders don't use dropper posts because they are too heavy compared to the seat posts they use and they're pretty keen on saving every possible gram
@ikeizer: With some of those rock gardens these XC bikes go through, I don't know how they don't all use a dropper. It seems like it would not only improve their time through those sections but also be a lot safer. But hey, if you can whip like that with the post up, then I guess you don't need a dropper.
He must be taking lessons from Minnaar on his whips. I was surprised to see it was Schurter after clicking on the thumbnail as their style is very similar.
