I'd ride that, I've never ridden a 29er,, They look awesome though,, And all you guys saying it sucks,, Ride It then give out your opinion, Your judging by looks,, People who do that about bikes miss the best part about them.. So personally, That thing is sick..
I'd ride an aluminum version of that.... just imagine shuttling with that thing... I would be so scared to get a deep scratch in it. I've raced against that dude in Oklahoma, he's friggin' fast and his stuff works so I'd trust the design, just not down with carbon for an everyday DH bike. For strictly racing it would kick ass though.
carbon fiber can take a full season of DH with no problem, the monocoque of the f1 cars it's made of carbon f. n it never had any problems. of course it won't andle with extreme freeride, but most of wcup dhbikes can't take it neither. to all the ppl who say that looks like shit. i think it looks way better than the stupid anodized pink kona stinky. these guys of BCD built some of the best DH bikes in the lat 90's in their parents house.. they did mor by themselfs than a lot of top companies
Now why they got to go on and change the way the shocks look.Oh and look now there making it out of carbon fiber. Alright, heres the deal dont try to make a DH bike that looks like it came from another planet. Just make DH bikes the way they have been made in the past years.
I saw that guy at angelfire during practice. I thought it was a joke, I can't beleive that he actually raced that. it looks like it's going to fall apart.
something just looks.... wrong or off about this bike.... i haven't ridden it but i don't think i like it and i'm with everyone else: carbon fiber + DH = not so good together
''andy14'':about the pedals......... crank bros mallets.
