So I'm thinkin' the Shiver would work well for my Son when he grows into the NS Holy 24" since he'll be light enough for the softer fork. Thanks again @StUone7, I still got you, don't worry, hahaa.

I don't appreciate the subtle way you made us look at your rims in the background. How dare you.

That's so sick! Aside from it's probably heavy

Thanks man! And actually it's not really that heavy for what it is. I should bring it to my work and weigh it on the scales we have here and see where it's at.

@Draggon: either way it's a sick ride for your son. How old is he?
  • 1 0
@Thepureface: He just turned 4yo actually but he is big for his age, already 3' 7" tall, so probably in the next 2 years or so he'll be building it. But yeah, I wish I was this lucky at his age, lol. I also figure it will be a great way to teach him bike responsibility as well, as I mention in another comment here.

@Draggon: ohhhh! Your gonna have to get him a fully too Smile I think I remember you having a dh build on the go.

It's nice to enjoy a sport or hobby with your dad, my dad and I did a lot of dirtbiking/ atv riding. I have such a hard time finding time to get out now that I'm old. Between work and just life. So enjoy it while you guys can!

@Thepureface: Yeah for sure, I am lucky because both he and his sister love bikes and they absolutely love spending time with me in the bike shed, they pretty much ask me on a daily basis to go in there, hahaa. That's awesome you and your Dad got that time too. As for a fully for the kids......you don't even know, I have almost pulled the trigger on this like 6 times now since it's on sale, hahaa.....

As for my DH......yeah, I got one going, hahaa, can't wait. Actually the Wife just told me that the custom decals for the fork came today so I should have a pic of the frame and fork for you guys in the next few. But did I mention the DH build somewhere here?? Didn't think I did, hahaa.

@Draggon: I seen two little boys riding those supreme 24's at the local hill. It was so awesome, the kids are such shredders!

I want to get one for my nephew, he loves bikes... I thought I might have to force him to ride lol. But he is all about racing me.

Sounds like your able to go on family rides Smile

You posted the pic of a dorado that I was trying to trade you for my 36 float

Thats going to be sick for him! Perfect!

Yeah I'm thinking it will be a good fit too!!

Thats Nice!! Will be perfect for him. And a awsome combo.
  • 1 0
I thought it was a great combo too....was asking myself why I hadn't thought of it before, hahaa, have had both the frame and fork for over a year now and never gave it a thought, lol.

kids get all the best toys! you got him helping on the build? lucky lad

Oh yeah, he's going to be picking everything for it, part by part, color by color and installing it all on his own.....I even have a rigid fork for him if he wants it instead, gonna be all his choice. Also, since it will most likely be a pretty nice custom build in the end, I plan on getting him a "junker" bike as well so he can ride that one off with friends, to school, to the store, etc at first so he can learn bike responsibility. Once he has no f**k-ups with the junker for a year straight he can have this one full-time. Until he proves that, this will be the one he gets to ride with Dad only, locked away in the SoS at all other times with me having the only key, hahaa.

@Draggon: +1 for Dad! agree here, good to get him on board, responsibility rules. Got to start somewhere tup ..maybe one day, he will build you one!

Kinda looks good on there too, I'm thinkin'.

@Draggon: Kinda? I think it looks great. The F&F are from the same era, if I'm not mistaken. so that makes it even better for me.
