Hi, I saw you used and tested few shocks on that Jeffsy, even various wheelsets. What have you done with the fox float x2 ? Were you satisted with it on that kind of kinetic? i am interested to know. Could you tell me your experience, please? thanks Jeff
@Jeff, Hi I raced the Ard Rock Enduro using the Float X2 and I feel it suits the bike very well especially on loose rock. For hard hitting rock gardens I will always run coil shock over air. Its just my preference for a cushier ride and for small bump sensitivity. You may suffer climbing with the coil shock and the extra weight doesnt help but if you are into gnarly descents I would say coil is much better for traction. You dont get heat fade problems or worry about seals and once sag is set properly you can just fit & forget. For the best of both worlds have a look at the EXT Storia LOK shock. My mate has one and swears its the best of both worlds.
