Grip strength and wrist flexibility, more than massive pectoral muscles. But yeah, gotta put in the work!

 Great Photo x Photon!
By the way the singletracks in Peru are amazing, huge mountains everywhere (the Andes) and our ancestors the Inca's left us more than 30,000 kms of trails all over the mountain range covering almost all of the peruvian territory.

@hamncheez: they don't want to deal with riders getting kidnapped and bikes getting stolen.

@Wouldhaveletmego: more than that is the problems of the acces and propper rescue in the race tracks.

Why the heck would they put someone falling off as POD?!
I want to learn how to slay the course better not fall off. Take a picture of someone who knows how to ride, please.

@harrisonwright: read the description - the picture shows exactly how to slay it.

I hope he had a cup on. The pickle looks awful close to the stem and bars.

This is how you ride right after you compete in a track bike longest skid contest

I dont think he is moving... reminds me of the time I leaned forward on my old joe breeze to kick dirt up by spinning the back tire... almost as great as a baseball card in the spokes!

That berm is right after the steepest part of the track. Not an easy one.
