For a long time we planned this steep technical mtb descent from 2k high peak in the Alps which we visited mostly in the winter. We start our descent just before sunset when the light was warmer and softer. Lake Bled can be seen in the background.

Slovenia is fantastic! The people are awesome, the scenery is amazing, and the food is incredible! I was lucky to visit last summer(2015) with my young family and luckier still to be able to poach a descent in the bankrupt Maribor bike park. Rented a totally unsuitable Specialized Pitch, hiked it uphill for an hour and a half in the forest and came down the unmaintained downhill course. Huge grin. My kids want to go back as well!!
