My time's spent 50/50 between DH and slope bikes. Last time touched a slope bike was speed and style for Whistler Crankworx. Have been on the big bike ever since for training and filming big mountain stuff with Freeride entertainment in the Yukon. Line here at Rampage has a bit of everything; steeps and exposure up top, big jumps and high speed lower down - a load of stuff I want to ride so happy with it. Bike is set up stiff, with the SR Suntour fork tuned very progressively. Running the DVO shock, supplied by Suntour, tuned stiff and progressive for the big hits with a 550lb spring. Frame is a maiden with a kind of WWII Amercian navy camo paint job just for Rampage by Painthouse Customs. Chromag cockpit, Saint build, Hope wheel, Kenda Nexcavators with a chunky tread to help dig into the soft stuff up here. Running 26" with the cup - better for manouevering the bike as I'm small guy. Happy with an aluminum bar cut to 31 inches because prefers the stiffness over carbon bars on big landings. Set-up rolled forward a little extra to be more over the bike for certain tricks. Taken off the last 3 or 4 cogs of his Shimano cassette - could probably just leave it but it looks cooler!
