 Why's there two moons?

its a special phenomenon that happens once every 200 years, witch is also known as a lens flair

@Scrobb: No need for the sarcasm. It was a genuine question. I know what lens flare is, but you really shouldn't be getting a double moon if you exposed properly, which is far from easy on a shot like this as to why not many people succeed and you don't see them every day. That, or you used a filter which caused a dodgy reflection.

I only asked as the whole image looks a touch too edited, with the weird softness to it all, so I wondered if it was down to that or just how it was shot.

@TombPhoto: Sorry if I offended you, was just meant to be a joke. Its just a lens flair the moon was really bright that night, in the color version it doesn't look as weird. But I really wanted to get the clouds in because they looked so cool, so theres two exposures one of the moon and rider and one of the clouds witch is why it probably looks a little funky and I dont really know what im doing. Hope that clears things up

@Scrobb: No offence taken dude, I was actually more worried my comment had come across more negatively than it was meant and not as a genuine question! haha.

Oh for sure, like I said in the last comment, a shot like this is super tricky to get! I assumed it was probably a composite of multiple images from the exif data. It's just that bottom right corner section around the lens flair has a funny blur to it. Did you try cropping it a bit closer at all?
Haha it's all trial and error learning dude, none of us really know what we're doing until we've done it, and you've got some nice shots up on here!

@TombPhoto: nah all good. some of the blurriness i think was a tree in the foreground, dont know about the bit above it though. nah wasn't cropped in, I think just with the editing it probably got over exposed and messing with the colors it just got funny looking.
Thanks, you too!
