At 8242 ft (yes I remember it because I checked my altimeter). Our team took a rest on an old Russsian F.O position over N. E. of Kahbul. I remember lookng down the hill of rock that looked like Bootleg Canyon NV. and saying, this would be a great DH run. Was not to be. Helmets and NVG 's on later and it was time to hunt that night......
