Right back at ya dude... I see you edited your "buy/sell" so now it doesn't say anything about you needing a large...??? (FYI, editing your buy and sell ad like that is pretty much the definition of "sketchy")

first thing he says is he's 6'2" and the XL fits perfect. Then I point out that his ad said he was selling it because the XL was too big and he needed a large. (didn't say how tall he was in the ad) Then he tells me he had to say that because the shop he works for won't let him sell a bike within 8 months unless it's the wrong size. That explanation didn't seem to make much sense to me. What shop sells the wrong size bike to their employee's often enough to need such a clause? Why would they want anyone to think they'd sell their employee's the wrong size bike and not "fix it" in some way...??? No sense? I've asked about this again numerous times and no explanation. (and obviously now he's edited the buy/sell ad, so I guess his shop doesn't care now....?) Smile

Around that time I noticed he has another MEDIUM frame that he's selling because it's too small. (hence he probably needs a large right?) Then he tells me on that one he did order a large, but they sent him a medium. (again, so he needs a large right, like how this all started???) Which is fine, but then why does his ad for that frame infer he bought it smaller on purpose to use for part time dirt jumping...??? Why give one reason in the ad, and then give another reason in a message? sketchy! Smile

Then after all kinds of back and forth, after this guy goes on about how dare I question his integrity, etc. Then he tells me he had a 140mm fork on the XL big honzo. (which reduces the reach) I mean, wouldn't you think if someone asked you about the "fit" and your telling them it "fits" perfect. (especially when it's a frame only) That you might want to mention you had modified the stock geometry by using a longer fork...??????? Smile

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the stuff this guy is selling. But I'd sure hate for someone to throw their hard earned cash and end up with a bike that they can't ride because it doesn't fit...

Thanks!
