Is it me or are PODs becoming far more generic?

In person, the DH track is amazing.. the deep tall berms and jumps are a thing of beauty. While I get what the photographer was going for, the rows of features don't really translate as well in the shot... It just looks like foreground.. from this angle, the rider would disappear behind of of those berms, but the berm just looks like a texture in sand.. not that you were asking for a literal explanation.. but it may help.
