This is very nice shock with lots of adjustments that work very well. It would be a nice upgrade for my soda!

oh, that one with the long name! have been looking for it since it showed up. How does it compare to the older mz shocks in feel of small and fast stuff.

maybe it wasn't bled well in the factory and there is some air left in the oil. Do you get good build manual for this rare one?

Oh Sorry, it was bled well in the factory, I didn't open it up to change the oil just did an air sleeve overhaul.
Cleaned it up and regressed it as the negative chamber had lost its air and was topping out hard, now its smooth as butter again!

Thats the name on it there S3C2R its funky.
Well the old roco was one of my favorite shocks of all time it too used low air pressure like this baby.
I would say this once however might be much smoother and definitely has more adjustments. Im sorry but I have only tested in my parking lot and not a proper trail test!!
I like it however because like the older version you can set up very progressive and bottomless with low pressure.
My monarch currently is good but I need to pump it up with 290-300 psi to finally feel good.
I put this on my soda and only needed 210psi for a similar sag!

I have it for a week so maybe I can do some testing and give you a short term review?

@nikoniko: would definately like to hear how it performs.

long live low pressure!!!

I am running 111psi in my vivid air , but i am light rider and that has benefitsSmile

Yes, unfortunately Im a big heavy rider and have always had to adjust suspension for my needs.
Air is much easier than coil but it has its limits. I rode a vivid for about a year but gave up on it as I could never get it firm enough for me, it was a great shock and loved DH but I like more pop and less pedal bob. I think one reason is I also grew up on HT so I tend to ride things on the hard side to begin with and I don't like bottoming out! hhahahahha

I will sneak his bike out for a ride hopefully wednesday! Shhhhhhhh Wink

It feels good too the low speed and high speed compression works great plus a 3 range compression setting for climbing, DH and trail but the trail setting works good but you really hear the oil passing through the shims. Unfortunately it seem hard to find for sale, but if you find it very inexpensive!
