Yea I've been thinking about changing it to two up front but don't really want to deal with it. I'd say it's very light, especially compared to my hardtail which is 31lbs. Somewhere around 20lbs maybe? I've never weighed it.

@StUone7: It is a lot of messing about, i'll try to find one with double set up I think! that's light compared to our usual bikes

Good luck man. A proper CX frame would be nice too, I can only fit a 30c in the rear, and barely, and disc brakes would be nice. Still not a fan of the drop bars either. But the only other thing I'm gonna do is set it up tubeless.

@StUone7: I keep looking at caadx, disc model...the hard bit is having to sell one of the mtb's to fund it! Good point about the bars, that will cause me problems I'm sure! Lol!

If I had to give up a MTB to buy one, I wouldn't. I had it built up as a commuter for ~$500, and only spent a bit more to convert to the GhettoCross it is now. I'm still not sure why I went drop bars, I didn't like the flat bars I had on there before, but whatever, I'll get used to it.

@StUone7: i can understand that buddy but i have a surplus of mtb's, some don't get ridden and thats a law broken to me. i enjoyed your edit of the ghetto cross in action, i gotta try it out, we have a lot of empty lanes here that turn into trails, they are calling me
