Selected by Simon Nieborak - What an amazing photograph. Part of being a successful photographer is to have that good luck to be in the right place at the right time.
Did Mr Lloyd the photographer say he was lucky to capture this picture? Looks to me that he saw the potential and worked out where he needed to be at the correct time. I see that Mr Lloyd has 12 POD's, obviously not just lucky. Or as one golfer famously said after a journalist talked about a luck shot, "the more I practice the luckier I get".
This is an absolutely killer shot, but I can't help notice the rider's reflection is not directly below him. Other than slightly rotating the photo, is this possible?
What, not enough rickshaws for you? Not all of India looks like downtown Delhi. Munsyari is located near the border with Tibet and Nepal. The mountains in the background are the Himalayas.
Or did you mean that the photo being taken in India somehow degrades its quality?
@tinfoil: I was just surprised India was so green, to be honest ive never been there nor have I done much research but its just not what I imagined. It looked to me like a northern country like Iceland or something lol, I would love to go to india someday and go mountain biking
