I take this road often but this was the first time to come across this wise little man or woman!

 @nikoniko: He must have just started hunting , yellow eyes are day hunters , rare for our area. Getting this kind of moment with nature makes a better day.

 Oh WOW I didn't know that yellow eyes are for day hunters, that explains why he was perched out in the morning. The funny thing was I was driving up the mountain road and he was just perched on the fence, I had to stop and take a shot, but I stayed far away as I didn't want him to flurry away!
