Definitely one of the most notable landmarks in the state of California, if not the whole country. However, I was baffled to find close to no images with bikes that truly capture the mood or scale. With some friends, I scouted out a location and happened upon some fast single track. The usual Bay Area fog held off just long enough to grab a perfect sunset.  Great photo but don't be disillusioned. The riding here sucks.

There are lots (but not enough) of good riding spots around the Bay Area. This is definitely not one of them. Awesome photo though. I think I can see my house.

Awesome shot man. I have definitely wanted to get some killer shots with the city in the background. Shows what a varied area we live in.

Nice work. I believe that I have seen Marin Bikes do some photo shoots from the same spot. I was there a few weeks ago. What a place.... It felt like I was in a movie.

Ah the bridge. I drive across there 5 days a week to get paid to work on bikes. Still haven't bothered to scout out singletrack in the Headlands. Usually it's way too foggy and cold and windy to ride up there.

I just googled it and was amazed by how detailed the photo google maps is.

Tamarancho is really fun, and I always get my day pass from Sunshine Bikes (other shops sell passes too).

@filmdrew: I just realized that I said Tamarancho, when I meant to say Mount Tam. I've ridden Tamarancho.
Either way I was wrong! =)

I also go to Sunshine shop!
