 Very true, but I'd rather keep the brakes and gears... I use this bike on trails and street sometimes, and that's important to me

 Oh yeah I understand 100%. Just thinking of the possibilities man. Could probably get close to 20 lbs

 @Ben-S: You're right, man. And if I could afford carbon rims it could probably be in the teens. But too rich for my blood lol. I got it down to this weight with marginal weight gains. Tires/tubes/seat/post/bars/cranks/pedals etc.
