Hope v4 brakes, floating disc 203mm front, 183mm rear... gotta mess with it to get the shifting dialed in, and might need to bleed the back brakes a bit as I trimmed the hose. Feels fab so far, once it's dialed in it should be epic.

Did you trim hose at lever end? Bike looks sick, you can't ride it, that'll ruin it!

I did trim at the lever end... the caliper end seemed to make more sense to me so I could make sure to pump a little extra fluid through with the lever, but I followed the hope demo video. It still stops well, but depresses about half again as far as the front to get a firm locked feel. I'm not sure if I got a little air, or it's just from having extra length line to the rear (that expands a small amount under pressure)

@zapbranigon: I've always found cutting lever end best, any air travels up towards resi and self bleeds out, try inverting caliper/lever and crack open the bleed bolt, the bubbles will work their way out, pump lever tiny bit to move the bubbles up hose, should be fine then dude.

 Thank you bro!

I'd say I'm done now... It is going to rip once I play with the shifting a little more, had it out for a bit (and in the bike repair stand) and it isn't quite there, about 90% but will still jump two or stay every once in a while on a shift, should get it all set once I get a minute Sunday.

I know how that is, setting things up and getting them just right, its a fun challenge!
But the overall color scheme you have going, just pure sexy man!
It would be fun to go trick or treating with a pumpkin mask on! ahhahahhah
If you could get an orange sticker kit for the fork too! Might be cool?
I love it!

@nikoniko: Thanks man! Haha, the pumpkin mask would be fun as heck, maybe make an edit of sleepy hollow with bikes. I got the shifting and rear hose bled perfect now... the brakes stop dead, it is pretty impressive, I'm glad I jumped both discs up to the next size. I actually took your advice and ordered some nifty orange decals for the forks too, should look awesome!

No way!! Thank you I think the orange decals will blend and make it smooth even more! Its funny as the white decals are not bad at all but its the first think my eyes go to. Good work on the brakes, it can be frustrating at times. I had some hayes that once they got old I just couldn't get them back to new even with many overhauls. You have created a masterful bike bro!

@nikoniko: Thank you bro... it is as close to perfect as I could think, and is my go to bike for everything now. The orange decals will bring the forks into the fold of orange, haha. It's kind of strange with some mechanical products, you can do everything to them and once they have aged they never seem to return to top form, then again there are products that seem to need a period of use to attain their best form. I like the latter, haha.

Fat all the way...perfect colour matching.

Thanks man! It will be even more of a rip once I adjust a couple things... there were a couple times down hilling I wanted a little more brakes, not an issue anymore ;-)

 That's one dialed ride!

Thanks man, it has become my go to bike for everything haha. I got on my trials bike to mess around today and was like, "WTF, screw this I'm dropping the seat on the fatty and using it!"
