M20 all the way dude! So cheap but you can make decent power out of them with a stroker kit, dead simple to work on too. M52s are good at first but getting power out of them is expensive.

I was lucky to find this as cheap as I did with an M20b25 in it, and there’s only one tiny spot of rust in the battery tray. Now to find wheels that look good but are not BBS RS because every e30 ever has those hahahahaha
