New E.13 TRSr carbon guide, XT M8000 11-46 cassette, and Guide RSC levers bled up to my existing Level TLM calipers. Bottle cage new as well. Can't tell you how much more I like having a bottle than wearing a Camelbak.

How do you like the 2.8 rekon? Ive never ridden plus size bikes but they look really fun ! would you say theyre slower ? any more sluggish ? or just as poppy then regular tire sizes?

You can feel them roll a little slower on the climbs vs a regular 27.5" tire for sure. But when you're descending they feel just as fast if not faster. They have insane grip and make it so that you no longer have to pick your lines as conservatively as before.

@seraph: Gucci. See, I'm thinking about purchasing a bike for my gf. Im sure she would like the extra confidence of larger tires. I kinda like the new Commencal meta AM Enduro with the 2.8 rekons !. But obviously she wont ride it all the time so I wouldn't mind buying a bike that I can also take for a spin when I want to ! Smile

 Lol the “all spark”
Why the XT cassette with Gx? or is it just what you had around?

11-46 range without having to pay for an XD driver. Plus I don't need the 10t. Plus XD cassettes are grossly overpriced compared to the M8000.

@seraph: lots of good points. XD is what came on my bike so im stuck with it for now, would have rather had 11-46 as well (but with XTR rear mech)

@sosburn: Well with an XD driver you can get the E.13 9-46, but there's gonna be some pretty big jumps in there.

@seraph: fair enough. e13 is about same price as a sram cassette though. i never even use anything above 9th gear so really it's all about how much i can squeeze out of the climbing gears for fire roads. i also despise that its called an XD driver, lookin like a stupid early 2000's emoticon
