Selected by Scott Secco - Sterling Lorence and Thomas Vanderham have collaborated on many gorgeous images over the years (including a Pinkbike Photo of the Year win) but this is perhaps their most technically impressive shot yet. SL lit this image by using a drone to hold a flash directly above Vanderham. It must have been quite the technical challenge to fly a drone into position, while simultaneously taking the photo, and doing it fast enough so that there was available light for Vanderham to actually ride his line before it got too dark. I can't wait to see what these two come up with next.
