 I have always wanted to try but never have had the chance! Hopefully one day I could depend on a Fatty! I know one guy here in Japan that sold all his bikes and now only rides fat bikes.

 @nikoniko: wow, not sure if I could commit to that. Fun on snow but not that great on dirt. cornering grip is good but braking was not so good. not only that, the bike bounces like a ball on hard surfaces. No damping in those balloon tires. Lots of fun still but different than typical riding.

I have to say, that you do feel like a boss rolling down the street with those big tires though

 Yes, he must have just fallen in love with the ride and feel! He had a Nomad that he traded for 2 fat bikes and still rocks them today. Thank you for the detailed description, they sound interesting! I think I read someplace it was originally designed to ride on snow and sand so, that makes sense that it would just bounce around on rocky terrain! You look great coming down this chute!
