 True that. So good to see nature. We looked at birds and saw a big 5ft goanna . Also dear right on our front lawn as we headed down the fire trail onto our lawn

 @samjam: thats a big lizard man, have you heard of komodo dragons? they'z even bigger...luckily not where you live tho. thats the real beauty of mtb, being able to travel into the heart of nature without causing a disturbance, we get to see nature at her finest

 we have them at our zoo here in town . Huge buggers ! I haven't seen a goanna here before . We get blue tongue lizzards , sleepys, a tonne of skinks and thrilled necks . All are lovely . It's just so good to be able to go to the scrub and see nature . Every ride or drive you see something cool

 @samjam: they are fantastic, we have tiny lizards here, close up they look just as scary.
you have abundant wild life over there buddy, i'd spend everyday exploring.
our bikes/trucks etc are simply vehicles to get us into deep nature and back safely, in style too, we are lucky and i'm sure we love them for that. please take your camera with you more for us!

 probably because we see so much of it we don't take pics etc . But I can understand you guys would love to see it. It's funny, every ride I film a wallaby, roo , turkey or something runs out in front of you but the go pro never gets it . The time that pig ran out at me I was sure it would be on film but no . A few years ago a mate was following me with his go pro and we hit a gully and ranting about 10 Roos . I don't think he posted it anywhere but it looked great when we looked at it

 @samjam: it's a real treat for us, we probably wont ever get the chance to pop over for a look ourselves!
i'm in the mood for RAZORBACK now lol, maybe one day you could do a video of a trail walk, you always ride too fast for us to see the wildlife

 yeah mate I could do that . There are some great views here from the trails of the city and on a clear day the ocean too. The only thing is we don't have flat or just grassy fields . It's all high vegetation but it provides cover for the nasties

 @samjam: we all encounter such different challenges out on our bikes in our different countries. Where i ride there are no people for miles & miles, no phone service, so a crash could be a life ender if i cant get back to a road, you have bugs, snakes etc that kill, i love seeing things from your perspective, makes me think!
