When the weather does amazing things it's all about finding a way to make the most of it. Even though we got completely soaked and I couldn't see through my viewfinder, it’s moments like these that we all live for.

- Light is everything in a photo and this sunset is simply exquisite! Easily one of my favourite images from 2017.

wizardry.... this is unreal. SO GOOD.

Even my dreams are not this good!

This picture has an almost religious quality. Things that pop in my head when watching it: "Enlightenment at the end of the day" "It will, indeed, turn out alright" "your striving has had meaning" something like that.
POY for me.

Exactly what I thought. This is what you picture when someone says “shred in heaven”
(Jan 24, 2018 at 9:58)
POY contender for sure! was my first nomination.
(Jan 30, 2018 at 17:51)
I never post, just lurk, but have to say this pic is a winner imo. Home town and Kalamalka Park/Lake is heaven on earth. Been riding those trails 35 years now. Beauty.

What I call a.... 'Mountain Biking Moment' One of those times where EVERYTHING comes together and you are truly one with the universe!

Love the photo! I must say in the smaller versions during voting I thought that was pollen or aspen cotton or fire weed seeds floating in the air. We are so dry in summer months in Idaho it wasn't even a thought it could be rain! So much more impressive of a photo op and shot now that I know that. EXCELLENT PICTURE

Is there a way to get this stunning pic in full resolution (quality) as I would love to have it as wallpaper on my pc screen?!!
(Jan 31, 2018 at 10:17)
In chrome i right click on the image, select "open image in new tab", the image in the new tab will be shrunk to fit in the window but if you click on it it should go to full size. Then save the image.
