Cool find, old fireplaces are awesome to see.... there is a pretty dilapidated one around here, no where near as nice. Ever build a fire, cook some lunch in this spot?

No, we never built a fire at this spot to cook up some grub, but that's a great idea! There's cool history regarding this trail. It's part of the Moneyhole MTN trail. In 1804 a counterfeiter found a cave along this trail and was using it to counterfeit money. We were out trying to find the cave, but couldn't.
