Epic shot! Wondering the line out of that rock drop on his right,, but looks like mega exposure to the left so better safe than !!!!!!!!! I remember Sam at the Windham WC DH years ago. In practice he just randomly hit this redicilous 30 foot hucks that was definitely not a race line. Saw hundreds of pro's not even looking at that. He stuck that like glue and seemed to just be toying with the track. Absolute beast!

@fecalmaster: it's a rock wall on a ridgeline so definitely no way to drop it. Unless you bunny hopped a meter in the air to jump over it haha.

@davetrumpore: I kind of figured, seeing it in person gives the real perspective.

The helicopter pairs nicely with his red Lyrik.

This photo sums up Sam's comments from the highlights video nicely... He said the chopper following him the whole way down a stage made him nervous and worried he was going to crash again like he did two years ago with the heli right over him.

I was fortunate to do a few runs with Mr. Hill at the US open at Mt Creek. He knew my friend who was pro status and wanted to see some real gnar, Huck lines. Most racer's were playing it safe and learning the track. We knew these trails for mega years and he was just going blind not breaking a sweat at all.
