Close. 54 x 14. Kinda ended up with that ratio, but it turns out to be absolutely perfect for the wheel to be slammed into the frame with the chain snug. Hopefully I'll get some proper daylight photos of her soon, now that the fork is painted and everything is how I wanted it. Thanks man!
@Philitup: That ratio is so fast you'll be breaking records lol, I want another fixie soon but 49 x 14 06 16 is hard for these old legs, may even go down to 48 or 46 on the front and an 11 on the rear. Thinking of a basic build, seen a nice Specialized Langster frame or Trek T1 so see what happens soon.
@SEADEVIL: Totally understandable, my man. Yes this gear ratio absolutely flies, but it's also terrifying if you need to stop quickly. Even with a brake it's sketchy at that kind of speed.
Also, that sounds like a super cool project with either frame! Keep me informed!
Thanks man! I think she's finally about done. Painted the fork black and trimmed the steerer tube down. Everything is clean and adjusted perfectly. Light and fast as heck!
