And hypothetically could the custom geo be Geometron level-29" with a long wheelbase/CS - something like Sick Bicycles is doing in terms of geo while preserving the same kinematics?

 @rippermago: I am guessing as far the pivot height goes the should feel similar. It will feel better especially in the air with the pinion because the weight is all down at your feet.

You will also feel a diference with the steel frame. I prefer how steel feels vs aluminum. Other customers feel the same. There is a nicer feel to it in terms of damping qualities.
