@leftofcentre Yeah It's really nice with all the rain we've had lately to see the lake so healthy again!
It was a little cool to be honest... Not Canada cool, but cool for us Texans;-)

 @keithrad: I'm glad to hear positive comments about lakes and clean water. It's always a tough balance here with mining and clean water. Canada's not that cold to someone who loves the outdoors but you could probably say Texas doesn't get that hot for the same reason .We humans adapt or move ,it seems.

It's all relative. Clean water....? Well, there's a lime rock quarry that is just outside the park. Not sure if or how much pollutants make it into the small lake in the park. I can attest that I and my family have gone swimming and none of us are glowing.....yet...:-(
