These hills still produce copper and Kingman turquoise, but mostly what remains are ghost towns like Cerbat or the living ghost town of Chloride. This opening only goes in 8-10 feet. Not sure what the story is behind this opening .

I was told the cave was used for storing explosives. @stoker1223, I'm glad you enjoyed our trail system. I recommend trying Rattler and Castle Rock next time. Not that much more technical than Monolith Gardens, but more elevation gain. Great views and good flow coming down.

Thanks for the explanation. My wife and I are heading back to Vegas and St. George for a week. We may head south into Kingman on the way back. Love your area of the world .

Very nice. Hit me up if you guys end up coming this way. I travel for work but I'd be happy to show you guys around if I happen to be home. We have a little bit more to offer than what you find on trail apps.

Is that a old mining cave?
