@ktm87: I'd think 1.5 would make more sense, else you're better off with a CC MTB.
The trick is to keep the weight of the tires down, especially the front end, as you don't have the leverage of a 760mm MTB bar.

@Mr-Magura: true. this bike is mainly just gonna be for me to commute to work and its a steel frame with a sus fork so im not too concerned about weight. can always switch to a smaller tire too

@ktm87: I wasn't thinking total weight, but wheel weight. Total weight is no big deal in this case.
All else looks about right.
