Anybody got any idea what this frame is? It's for sale locally, and the dude said he got it from Performance Bicycle and the guy there stated it was MFG by Giant for a no-name label? somethin' like that...I am a little leery of frames I can't research for weak spots/recalls...but it looks pretty bad-ass reminds me of an SC Bullit

 I sure do!
Its a 6/7 meaning you can swap the travel between 6in and 7in.
I rode one for about half a year and loved the bike, it felt great!
The tubes are Easton tubing but unfortunately it got a crack at the top of the shock mount on the down tubes.
I was totally bummed!
Yes, I got a SC Bullit just after it cracked! But got this frame as it was only like 500$ with shock but reminded me of the Bullit! That was all back in 2003 or 4! I rode it with a WC Boxxer!

Dude, you are the man! If I do go look at it, I will look where you said yours cracked. The guy wants $500 for the complete bike, but said I could have for 450. I'm going back and forth between this and a Kona Shonky on Ebay like the one I had in NY. Hmmmm

The Shonky is here on PB not ebay!

Very cool! I just read everyone's conversation so I don't need to say what I was going to say! But in short you should be more than happy with your current Yeti! RideOn Bro!

@nikoniko: Oh trust me, I do love my 2 Yetis!, But you know me, I like to collect, and am jonesin' for a new treasure Wink

Cool! I know that feeling! this would be a good bike for all those classic parts! the SPV shock from manitou and that Z1 are great shocks, just the SPV rides kind of funky!

That's a Weyless 67. A cheap knock off of the Santa Cruz Bullet. Not a bad bike of you where on a budget. looks like it has some nice parts on it that are period correct. Is the fork a 66RC or a 66VF? To be honest, I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it!

Right on Spencer! I didn't really want to spend more than 250 for it. Z150 Drop off fork. Thanks for the info Brother! That Shonky is more than I wanted to spend too, but I miss the one I had that was the same year. Just got the bug to buy another bike! lol 50+ bikes still aint enough! lol

@FIVE8FIVE: Def with Spence on this one. Hell I'd drive to Kentucky and pick this up instead...

Your move brother! Whatcha gonna do?

@FIVE8FIVE: No problem! You're better off passing on the Kona too. Unless you can get it for $300-$350

@spencer666: I remember some people would put dual crown forks on these to downhill with, it was pretty good for a bullit knockoff.

@keithrad: Dude...I've been watching this one too!!! I love that kokopelli...The Shonky sold already, and that Weyless is too $$...I guess I'll bag my cash and wait for a good local deal. They always seem to pop up! There was a nice old FRO in Boerne that was on Ebay, but as soon as I decided to get it, it was sold too! Sheesh!

@spencer666: Yeah, you're right. I think I paid 300 for the last one I had then traded it for my old Cannondale 29'er. Sold that too, and miss the Shonky! Facepalm I'm sick fellas...need help

Weyless 6-7. Because you could run a 6 or 7 inch shock I guess. I ran this same green frame for less than a year. But I broke the rear chainstay right above the replaceable drop out casing a large table several times. Was a super heavy bike!

It looks heavy! I ended up buying a 2002 Yeti Kokopelli instead for a way better price. Thanks Brother!
