Im kind of at a loss of words on the plagiarism here. The original image was taken in 2012 and was a part of the photo of the year competition here on pinkbike. This was one of the hardest images I have ever created and I even gave a detailed explanation of how I shot the image. This image was a big thing for me and was an image that defined my brand as a photographer. I am disappointed that this image was used to represent Lear for the Deep summer wild card contest as the intellectual properties that I created were pirated to create this photo.

 @Milko3D: This is Steve Lloyds photo from 2012. To me it is a little more striking on the whole, although the sky is a little better in this one. Both great pics!

 It is an insanely good shot! But I think there is a good chance it is a composite. Looking at the metadata - it says it's a 4 sec exposure @ ISO 1600, which is probably from the layer used to capture the riders (and arches?). Could be wrong though.

Short flash somewhere in those 4 seconds to get the riders and arches.

 @IntoTheEverflow: You'd need something like 25 sec at ISO 4000 and f2.8 to get decent stars. 4 sec at ISO 1600 and f2.8 wont work, even bringing the shadows right up. But it doesn't really matter how this was captured, it is a stunning shot!

 @ben-karalus: 4 Seconds exposure can't be for the riders, because they would get blurry.
Maybe it is too short for the stars, I don't know.
