Great ride, bro! Glad to see ya into the bmx crusier stuff, now. I love my OM Flyer and Big Ripper. Yesterday took the OM to the sk8prk and loved it. It easy to do whip-its and for me that is no easy task, Bhahahaha! These bikes make a great cruise and I use my Big Ripper as my fitness go to bike, now. Anything 10 miles or less is done on the Ripper.

Big Grin I've been waitin' for you to see my new toy! I haven't really had a chance to ride it for too long yet, but I just love the feel. I have been eyeballin' a Mike Buff Big Ripper 29 for sale locally, but I swear I'm outta room Bro! Gotta sell-off some of my 'less important' bikes before I get the Big Ripper...although that Om Duro is a pretty amazing bike, too...and I love the DogTown Ripper too...and still want an Om Flyer...lol lol I have you to thank for this, and now have @zapbranigon pondering the Big Ripper! Enjoy the ride, Brother! tup

@FIVE8FIVE: I recommend the Big Ripper and Om Flyer. My thing, for some time now, was to get simple. My road bike is single speed, my Ripper is single speed, the OM Flyer is single speed and my Redline Mx24 for racing is single speed. The only multi-geared bike I have left is my MTB and it is only a 1x9. I love the Ripper and OM so much. If I had to chose just one it would be a very hard decision. I think the SEs have a very good geo and I love the slope of the top tube. I got my wife a Framed 26er. Much cheaper, but she doesn't jump so it's a damn good bike for the price. Now, if they ever make the Ripper with a disc brake it will be so hard for me to pass up. They also make a Fast Ripper which is the Big Ripper with a 1x10. I seriously considered it, but still like the simplicity of the single speed. I have seen vids of Taj jumping his bike on his in-door ramps. I think the Taj would be much better at straight cruising due to the geo. The Rippers and OMs have that new/old school geo and allow for the jumping. Of course, the 29er is alittle tough, for me, to jump. Like I said, the Ripper is used primarily for 10 miles or less fitness rides and I bang around on the OM at the sk8prk and pulling my grandbaby in her trailer. I hear ya about making room. I swore I was done, but got a really good close out deal on the OM. My rack is full and the race bike is hung on the wall, so the OM always sits in the repair stand. Now, I am officially out of room, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Enjoy, bro!!!!!!!

@FIVE8FIVE: I’ve been spinning 5-7 miles a day on the stationary the last few months... I’d still probably throw up if I tried flat out bmxing, maybe by next year I’ll jump in some races. Haha
