Man...so much bad blood toward me as a racer back then & I had no idea why. Some guys (thought it was Hick Hucksters) were insulting and barking at me in the lot at Sugar Mountain & I just tried to ask why. Can't even remember what all was said at the time. Was the only time someone verbally accosted me for loving riding and racing.

Anyway, so much awesomeness. I felt bad the day I finally through my last pair of shorts & jersey away from the company. Loved having a local producing riding gear. Oh...and I got too fat to squeeze in them.

Just look at the Kona downtube and that glorious THE fender, the 2.7" Mobster tire, Roach elbow pads, skate helmet. 2" rise bars. I assume at least 3 people are wearing Vans & the 4th a set of hiking boots?

 Doubt it was Hick Hucksters, I’ve never ridden Sugar Mtn and I know for sure Billy Bad Ass wouldn’t be seen there, although he would likely say that to you somewhere else. And he is Vans for life, you got that part right.

 We didn't really start shit with people we didn't know unless you were being a real douche. We gave each other hell that most couldn't take. Don't think it was any of us, that was just not our style. Btunstill, Wild Willie, I miss riding with you guys. I hope you're all safe out there with all this madness going on.
